Last Thursday, November 1st, I ventured out to Utrecht, to visit the biggest DIY market in the Benelux: KreaDoe!
It was advertised to have everything DIY related, from yarn to paint and from paper to clay. It was a short trip, as I live very close to Utrecht. I had my wishlist ready & was looking forward to the event for months!
As you would expect, it was very, very busy. All kinds of creative ladies (and some men!) showed us all their latest products. Ofcourse, there were also some big producers like Cricut & Tombow. It was so awesome to just wander around, touch all the stuff and meet other creative individuals!
I was really hoping to get my hands on the new Prima Marketing “Moon Child” collection, but I couldn’t find it. To my disappointment, there also wasn’t a lot of Marion Smith Designs & barely any Graphic45. However, I did find something really, really awesome for all you mini album addicts! I will write a new blog on that soon!
It was a great day!
Here are some pictures of my day
As you can see, some gorgeous paper from a brand I never heard of, 13arts. They are made in Poland and I can’t wait to make something vintage with them. As you might remember from my Tea Time mini album, Craft & You Design papers are also from Poland, the Polish sure know how to create some beautiful papers! I also bought 2 storage units for Distress inks (not pictured), stamps, a brayer (I am planning to use it on the raised surface/embossed areas of my work to color them), a small pincet, new white embossing powder & ink (my current one is 7 years old.. not so juicy anymore!), a green Memento ink drop for my Christmas cards, two packets of DIY mini albums with paper (Alchemy & Alice in Wonderland) by Stamperia and two rolls of SnapPap. I will tell you a lot more on that later!
Hope you have a great weekend!
