I was so excited seeing this lovely postcard in the mailbox, it was from my friend Irene! It says: “Lummelen is heel simpel, eigenlijk: doen waar je zin in hebt” which means “Mooching about is really simple, it just means doing what you feel like”. I contacted her on Facebook and now we finally set our Crafting Date on December 19th!
We have never met in real life, but we have been following eachother on social media for over 4 years and we both love to craft! Irene is really into Project Life and I am excited to learn more about it. I am going to show her what embossing is & what cool things you can do with it.
Ofcourse I will take pictures off the day and post them here! Have a great week!
This Friday I attended a lovely workshop by the amazing artist France Papillon! She visited the craft store in my local city, so ofcourse I had to go!
We used Stampotique stamps, Radiant Rain ink, Finnabair mediums and lots more! At first I thought I messed it all up, but it came together in the end.
She also gives a workshop in her studio next year in summer and I am still pondering if I should go…
You can view more pictures & the final project after the jump.
As you can see, I really loved the bee stamp

Tomorrow is Eid al Adha (Feast of Offering) to celebrate the prophet Ibrahim for his ultimate sacrifice to God.
I have been invited to celebrate Eid at my lovely friend’s house, so I decided to make her (& her mom & her grandmother) a gift bag filled with some goodies.
The bag contains different gifts for each, including headscarves, scented candle, hand cream and more small gifts.
The bags were kraft with pink dots, so I added labels and stamped them with Arabic stamps. It was a very nice day!
A co-worker’s daughter of mine really likes my videos, so I decided to give her a bag of unused craft supplies. I put in glitter paper, cupcake design paper, some stamps, die cuts and more. My co-worker was very happy to surprise his daughter with the goodie bag and in the evening, she immediately made a beautiful card with the supplies!

Hi sweet followers! If you are reading this, you are visiting my new look!
I decided to change the name after two years, because of two reasons. Vintage Voyage stood for vintage snail mail & I am noticing a change in my crafting lately. I still do snail mail, but I also love to make Mixed Media, ATC’s, Art Journal pages & other crafts. I also include more color into my work and I just felt I needed a change!
I hope you like the new website & keep on following me and my crafts
